VIVA COLOMBIA is considering plans to remove all conventional seats from its aircraft and make passengers traveling standing.
The company hopes the idea will reduce flight prices, provide more space for passengers on every trip, open classes for the working class, or travel on a budget holiday.
The airline said this week it would add 50 new Airbus A320s to its fleet to take advantage of the country's growing tourism market by the beginning of 2018. The new aircraft will have more seats, making travel less expensive.
